Principal’s message

Welcome to Highbush Public School! We are a K-8 Elementary School located in Pickering with a population of approximately 550 students and growing as we host students from the new Seaton Development. Highbush P.S. has a rich history of providing a balanced education through academics, athletics, the arts and character education. Our dedicated staff are committed to providing a school culture that sets high expectations and focuses on continuous improvement and student achievement; recognizes the strengths of each child; fosters opportunities for individual success and student leadership; recognizes and appreciates diversity and provides opportunities to make positive contributions to the school and City of Pickering.

We value the contributions of our community and work with parents/guardians to help all students achieve to their highest level. Our School Community Council is a valued partner in our school.  New members are always welcome. Please consider joining the SCC to share your input and to support our fundraising efforts.

Regular communication between home and school is essential for optimum learning. Our school website contains information about the school itself, as well as the school code of conduct and monthly newsletters.
